As Always, Nearly All New Developments and Improvements were Driven by IQMS’ Valuable Customers

IQMS, a manufacturing ERP software developer with an ongoing, proactive commitment to its product and relationships, today announced the release of its latest software version of EnterpriseIQ. With more than 700 improvements and enhancements across nearly all aspects of the software (including the extended modules such as EDI, quality control, inventory management, production monitoring, etc.), IQMS’ latest release features useful and technologically advanced developments that offer solutions to its customers’ various manufacturing challenges.

Customer feedback is paramount at IQMS and 90 percent of the developments made to IQMS’ software release come from two main avenues: The first is through client-focused events such as the recent User Group 2012 conference held in October, where customers attended dedicated sessions to discuss and provide feedback on software enhancements. The second way is through MyIQMS, a customer-centric support website where the IQMS user community can submit development requests – all available for fellow user comments and votes – then follow the changes through development, testing and release.

“Our customers feel comfortable approaching us with their challenges,” said Randy Flamm, president at IQMS. “They know, from experience, that we truly listen and aim to address their concerns as best as we can. This earned trust and two-way dialogue makes for a valuable bond with our customers that is uncommon in the ERP market. It is a relationship that we work hard to maintain every day and value foremost.”

A small sampling of the advancements to this recent ERP software release include an array of accounting developments (designed by IQMS’ recently formed Accounting Focus Group), enhanced user defined form controls for more software customization, increased assembly scheduling flexibility, new options for important job/task time and cost tracking, a new detailed, industry-specific compounding manufacturing type and the ability to incorporate the product configurator when parsing EDI-based sales orders automatically.

Additionally, IQMS realized that manufacturers needed more flexibility with regards to production reporting, so it developed new and innovative ways to report production on the plant floor. Finally, IQMS’ award-winning Automation Department has been hard at work developing the WebDirect Vendor Labeling System, a new integrated program that improves customer service for vendors and increases inventory control while saving IQMS customers time and money.

The latest version of EnterpriseIQ is available now. As always, all maintained IQMS customers are eligible to receive the update at no charge.
